ZURÜCK AN DIE MUTTERBRUST / BACK TO THE MOTHER-BREAST / RETORNO AL TETA DE MADRE

Samstag, 15.10.2011: Lima/PERU
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After 15 (!!!) hours of sleep I still struggle with the 7 hour time difference between Peru and Austria.

It is very cool in Lima. I take a taxi ride for Groupo Socopur where my KTM is waiting for me, maybe (?) ...

When I arrive, they look with a question in their eyes. Nobody seems to know that my baby, a KTM 950 Adventure with Austrian license is in these halls.

The workshop manager will be called. He asks me when I want to have my motorcycle - maybe on monday? NO, I'm here now, and will take my motorcycle now. And then I also see my baby!
El gerente de taller se llama. Me pregunta si quiero tener mi moto - tal vez el lunes? NO, yo estoy aquí ahora, y se llevará a mi moto ahora. Y luego también veo a mi bebé!

Endlich!
At last! After so many months ago I got my baby back.

And then my luggage will be taken, that I have left here in March. The duffel bag with my camping gear is open. Well, hopefully everything is there?

After an initial check everything will dusted off. Everything seems to be there, but where's my helmet?

Alles wird durchsucht, doch mein Helm bleibt verschwunden. Das kann doch nicht sein...
Everything is being searched, but my helmet is gone. This may not be true ...

Supposedly, the helmet was blocked in a place where only one person has access, today, Saturday is no longer there. I get a replacement helmet. My helmet will on Monday brought me to the hostel.

I buy 5 liters of fully synthetic engine oil - the oil of the new engine must be changed after about 500 km. In addition, I buy a spare tube for the back wheel and brake pads. Then I drive back to the hostel.
